Delta 8 is an isomer of CBD, which is a derivative of both CBD and Hemp, not traditional THC. This sets it apart in many ways and is part of what makes it legal federally. This is all a fancy way of saying; it is a new compound in the Cannabis family that hasn’t been publicized yet. It gives you a similar body feeling as traditional THC but without the fogginess or cognitive dissonance. Delta 8 is the wave of the future for legal usage.
Yes! Delta 8 is legal federally, but certain states have not yet made it legal on the state level. Check out our legal page for more information and specific State regulations. Here’s a little background on what made it legal:
It was made legal back in 2018 with the passing of the Farm Bill. The Farm Bill stated that anything containing under .03% Delta 9 THC is legal and allowed in the United States. The Farm Bill also made amendments to the Controlled Substance Act, taking any derivatives of Hemp off the banned substances originally under the act.
All of our products are below the .03% legal levels and tested at multiple 3rd party testing centers.
The feeling is often described by users as an incredible body high, but your mind stays active and clear. Imagine, getting all the properties of THC and still being able to function well throughout the entire experience. Basically, you get all the benefits of traditional THC without the pitfalls of a traditional THC high.
We test all of our products through multiple 3rd party testing centers to ensure the quality and legality of the product. We are all about transparency and always tell you everything that is in our products.
Simply put, yes. When you excrete Delta 8, in whatever form, your body treats it the same way it would treat Delta 9. It is processed very similarly, and they do not have tests yet that can differentiate between the two compounds. Be careful and do not put your job on the line if you know you get tested.
Delta 8 is fully derived from Hemp. This means the compounds of the plant are totally different and why it is legal federally. It gives a similar body feeling but your mind stays clear and active when taking Delta 8 compared to Delta 9. Basically, it is a smoother softer version of Delta 9 THC.
Delta 8 uses a different process to extract that is harder than that of Delta 9 THC. Because of this, it hasn’t been publicized nearly as much even though it is legal federally and gives you a great body high without the pitfalls of traditional THC.
Even in places where delta 9 THC is legal, it can be hard to find this in physical stores. That’s why we started Owl’s Oil, to spread the word of this great compound and educate the world. Almost everyone who tries it falls in love right away.
